Installation Guide

Windows PC

  1. Download the .exe file from the link in your email.
  2. Double click to install. You might see a blue window saying "Windows protected your PC".
  3. Don't panic! This happens because we are an Indie Developer.
  4. Click on More info (text link) and then click the button Run Anyway.

macOS

  1. Download the .dmg file. Drag the App into your Applications folder.
  2. If you double-click it, macOS might block it saying "Unidentified Developer".
  3. Solution: Instead of double-clicking, Right-Click (or Control+Click) on the icon and select Open from the menu.
  4. Click Open again in the popup dialog.

Android APK

  1. Download the .apk file directly to your phone.
  2. Tap to install. Your phone might warn you about installing from "Unknown Sources".
  3. Go to Settings and toggle "Allow from this source" (usually for Chrome or your File Manager).
  4. Proceed with the installation. The app runs in full-screen immersive mode.

FX & Sound Generation

DUB SIREN

A professional grade oscillator designed to cut through any heavy bassline. It's not just a sample player; it's a real-time synthesizer.

Modulation: Use the LFO Rate for speed and Depth for pitch intensity.

Performance: Use the Trigger button for short blasts.

SYNDRUM

The legendary "Pew Pew" space drum sound, essential for Steppas and Dub.

  • Decay: Shorten for "blips" or lengthen for falling lasers.
  • Echo Send: Direct send to delay unit.
Pro Tip

Phone as Hardware Siren

You don't need to play music through the app to use it!
Use Dubbatron as a pocket-sized Hardware FX Unit.

  1. Install Dubbatron on your Android Phone.
  2. Connect a 3.5mm Jack to RCA cable from your headphone output to a mixer channel.
  3. Trigger Dub Sirens over your vinyl selection.
  4. Zero latency, authentic sound generation.
TAPE ECHO

A gritty, saturating delay unit. It does not sound clean; it sounds like magnetic tape.

  • Time Warp: Moving the time knob creates pitch-shifting artifacts.
  • Self-Oscillation: Push Feedback past 85% for infinite loops.
SPRING REVERB

Based on physical modeling of a spring tank. Adds the metallic "clatter".

  • Tone: Darkens for murky dub or brightens for sharp splash.
